Schedule
The Schedule of the Congress scientific and social programmes is now settled and are posted at the bookmark Programme/Schedule.

The opening of the Congress is planned on Monday, July 2, at 9:30 a.m. All the 6ECM activities will be held at the Auditorium Maximum of the Jagiellonian University (AM UJ), ul. (street) Krupnicza 33. Satellite Thematic Sessions on Monday through Friday will be held in a short walking distance from the 6ECM venue, in the lectures rooms of the AGH University of Science & Technology,  ul. (street) Reymonta 7. On Sunday, July 1 they will be held at the Auditorium Maximum.

Internet connection
Wireless Internet connection will be available in Auditorium Maximum and in some locations at the AGH University.

Social programme
There will be Welcome Lunch on Monday, July 2 after the Opening Ceremony, and another special Lunch after the Andrzej Pelczar Memorial Lecture on Thursday, July 5 - both at the 6ECM venue.  The conference banquet will be held on Wednesday evening, July 4 at the Franciscan Convent (Plac (square) Wszystkich Świętych 5) within a walking distance from the Auditorium Maximum.

Tourist programme
During the 6ECM there will be a rich sightseeing programme.  We suggest that you make  your schedule before arrival.

During the Congress day by day several guided walks will be offered free of charge for registered participants and accompanying persons. They will typically start from the 6ECM venue.  More

On Tuesday and Thursday afternoon there will be short excursions in the vicinity of Kraków. On Saturday July 7 a longer trips will be organized. For description of the excursion and prices click here.

The tour operator for all the excursions is Jordan Congres Biureau. You can book places on the
excursions at its webpage. Note that your previous declaration of interest in excursions helped us to plan them, but actually to take part you have to register with Jordan.

6ECM Medal
On the occasion of the 6ECM a special medal will be issued. It will be possible to buy such medal
during the Congress. However, everyone who wants to buy a medal must order it by e-mail till
June 11. For details click here.

Arrival information
Updated directions how to get from the John Paul II International Airport Kraków - Balice and the
train station Kraków Główny (Main Station) to hotels will be posted at bookmark Local&Travel
from June 15. To assist arriving participants on Sunday, July 1 there will be easily identifiable
6ECM organizers present at the airport. Reception at the conference venue will be open from
Sunday, July 1, 10 a.m.
